We jointly rented the villa with another couple for two weeks in early April. We had no other data except the pictures on the website and the on line reviews. In the two weeks we also had 3 other guests come and go, the villa easily accommodated us all providing large common areas and enough privacy to be alone if you wanted. All raved about the villa and the view.

The villa is exactly as described and the reviews are equally accurate. The house and the staff are wonderful. Antoinetta, the houser manager, was incredibly helpful in arranging things for the house (food and supplies) as well as local transport and tours in the area. Whatever you want seems to magically appear. The staff are honest, hard working and very helpful, you only see them when you need them.

The house is not for someone who has problems with stairs. It is a steep walk to the road. Another down side is the living room furniture is quite uncomfortable. If the weather is poor and you stay in the house, you will find it hard to locate a comfortable place to sit and read a book. Outside seating is better but all of it could use an upgrade. Having said that, it is a wonderful location. A short walk to the beach, a short walk to town, and a wonderful place to sit and let the world pass you by.

Be sure to ask for Pedro to come and prepare a dinner at the Villa. That was the highlight of our visit and enjoyed his cooking so much we asked him to come back 3 times. He does an excellent job and is very open to menu requests. He is SUPER.

The team from Elegant Escapes were very helpful and efficient at all times before and during our holiday in Sorrento. They had excellent English and responded quickly to all enquiries. We had a few problems with the apartment at the beginning of our stay and Elegant Escapes sorted them out immediately. Linda checked us in and out, she was lovely, very helpful and punctual always.

Apartment Orange was exactly as described in the web site.  It had a great location, near to the town centre and the station. Close to a good supermarket, a convenient pizza take away and an excellent coffee shop.  It was clean and perfect for our needs ( a family of 4). The wi fi worked best in the back bedroom.

Sorrento was a great place to visit and I would thoroughly reccommend Elegant Escapes.

Apartment Orange has now been redecorated from the ones shown in the photos and it looks a little more stark, white and less welcoming. It is not the best appointed apartment we have ever stayed in but it is just about adequate. We all came home with a number of very nasty insect bites and we never saw any mozzies, so we have string suspicions that the beds have bed bugs or fleas present. Giuliana was extremely helpful all the way through the booking and confirmation procedure and also while we were in Sorrento itself in providing a fan to deal with the extreme heat. The best feature of the apartment is the proximity to the centre of Sorrento so it provides an ideal location but just don't have too high expectations of the property itself.

Only downside is the shower off the kitchen is quite small and it can be a bit of a squeeze getting into it if you are more portly person, and we could have used more towels.

Apartment Sun is a great apartment which is in a great location away from the madding crowd but within a 5-10 min walk of the main square and all the action. The balcony is immense and affords great view across that bay in all directions. The facilities were great and it was a reasonable alternative for three people compared to hotels. Your staff could not be more helpful and it made our stay for our daughters wedding a pleasure.

Apartment Sun was all we were expecting and more. Stunning views from the numerous outdoor living areas, spacious and comfortable apartment, and the service from the team was fantastic on arrival and checkout. My only suggestion would be to add a few more cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery (and perhaps some English instructions for the washing machine!). However, these are minor points and vastly overwhelmed by the fantastic apartment and service. We would very highly recommend staying here when in Sorrento. Thank you, Elegant Escapes.

Nous avons lou� l'appartement "Sun" sur les hauteurs de Sorrento et nous nous en sommes f�licit�s. Bien situ�, avec une vue de qualit� sur la baie et le V�suve, une immense terrasse sur le toit entoure un vaste appartement propre et bien meubl�. La pr�paration ( r�servation, acomptes ...) �tait tr�s professionnelle, la r�ception un peu cahotante ( du retard ) puis le check out rapide et courtois. Une bonne adresse,� recommander, excellent rapport qualit� prix.

We stayed at Apartment Sun. Great place. Beautiful apartment with amazing porches and great views. The folks from Elegant Escapes were very friendly and helpful. We had a great week in Sorrento.
